British Healthcare Trades Association (BHTA)

The BHTA was founded in 1971 and is the oldest and largest healthcare association in the UK. It is the first trade body within the health industry to have an Office of Fair Trading (OFT) approved code, which means that it has been proved effective in safeguarding and promoting the interests of consumers beyond the basic requirements of the law.

The LEIA is the representative body for those dealing in the supply, installation and maintenance of lifts – which includes stairlifts, homelifts and lifting platforms. As members of the LEIA we are committed to upholding the highest standards of quality, design, workmanship, and above all, safety.

CE Marking

By marking our products with the CE Mark, we are making a declaration that our product complies with relevant European health, safety and environmental protection legislation.

ISO Certifications

The International Organisation for Standardisation (ISO) is the largest global developer and publisher of International Standards for Business, Government and Society. Stannah have achieved ISO certifications for quality, environment and health and safety.
